Purpose Statement
- To provide a support service to the Capitec Bank branch environment by ensuring technical queries are responded to and resolved within the contracted service level agreement.
Experience
Minimum:
- This role is suitable for first entry into employment.
Ideal:
- Telephonic technical support experience, preferably in a Service Centre environment
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Technical Support or Similar
Knowledge
Minimum:
- MS Office suite (Basic)
- Cooperation and relationship building with people
Ideal:
- Basic IT Hardware and Software Support
- Client Service principles

- No experience required but ideally having a one-year client service experience in finance, retail, or banking environment will be advantageous
- Computer literacy especially Microsoft
- Having interpersonal and relationship management skills is important

Duties
- Adhering to the values and principles of the company
- Doing liaison and networking
- Persuading the clients in finding the best finance solution
- Following procedures and instructions given by the supervisors

- Meeting customers’ expectation
- Guiding the clients while they are in the ATM
- Communicating information
- Welcoming clients
- Completing the transactions on any remote channels
- Coordinating with the branch flow through the queue functioning

- Having no experience is acceptable
- Grade 12 National certificate is compulsory
- The minimum of one year’s client service experience in retail, banking environment, or financial is preferable
- Having the basic knowledge about calculation is essential
- The knowledge of all products of Capitec Bank and its business processes will be obligatory
- Outstanding communication skills for both written and verbal are compulsory
- Having the computer literacy especially in Microsoft
- Having the interpersonal and relationship management skills
