Who Should Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must have a Three (3) year Tertiary Qualification in one of the following fields:
- Environmental Health
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemistry
- Construction-related Engineering
- Occupational Health/Hygiene/Analytical Chemistry
- Explosives Management
- Explosives Engineering
Additionally, a valid driver’s license is required.
Key Responsibilities
As an OHS intern, your duties will include:
- Assisting in conducting inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
- Providing administrative support to inspectors.
- Assisting in the investigation of incidents and complaints reported under the OHS Act.
- Supporting inspectors during enforcement procedures.
- Compiling and consolidating inspection reports.
