• LOCATION: Dainfern/Fourways, Johannesburg
• CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
• SCHOOL PHASE: Foundation Phase / Early Childhood Development (ECD)
• SALARY: Market-Related

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons.
• Demonstrate experience in a Foundation Phase or ECD environment.
• Foster a nurturing teaching environment that encourages active student participation.
• Maintain professional standards in punctuality, behavior, and work ethics.
• Reflect on, evaluate, and continuously refine teaching practices.
• Embrace opportunities for professional growth and school-wide development initiatives.
• Offer extra lessons and participate in extra-mural activities when required.
• Create high-quality educational resources for students.
• Conduct assessments, mark evaluations, and provide feedback to students.
• Write detailed and constructive report comments.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the School Head or Manager.

• Adaptable teaching style with a focus on constructive feedback.
• In-depth understanding of relevant subject areas.
• Strong judgment in evaluating learning effectiveness.
• Excellent skills in lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Effective assessment of student progress with timely feedback to drive improvement.
• Genuine care and attention to the highest standards of student welfare.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant teaching experience.
• Prior experience with the Cambridge Curriculum is an advantage.
• A professional qualification in Foundation Phase teaching and ECD experience is essential. The ability to teach across various Pre-Primary grades is an advantage.
• Certified Teaching Status (SACE) and a valid Police Clearance.
