FirstRand Foundation invites South African students to apply for Honours Bursary Programme 2025.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- South African Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
- Age: You must be between 21 and 35 years old.
- Matric: You must have completed Matric and achieved at least 60% in Mathematics (NOT Mathematical Literacy).
- Undergraduate Degree: You must have completed your undergraduate degree between 2022 and 2024.
- Postgraduate Studies: You must be enrolled in a full-time 1-year honours degree program for the 2025 academic year.
- First Postgraduate Qualification: You must be pursuing your first postgraduate qualification.
- University: You must be studying at a public university in South Africa.
- Academic Performance: You must have achieved an overall average of at least 60% in your undergraduate degree.
- Family Income: Your combined gross family income must NOT exceed R600,000 per annum.

- Proof of university acceptance or provisional acceptance for 2025
- Proof of household income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, affidavit stating annual income if self-employed, audited financial statements or 3 months’ recent bank statements if a business owner, SASSA letter if applicable)
- Completed EEA1 form (which can be downloaded from the application portal)

The Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust (TWFT) invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2025.

The Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust (TWFT) is pleased to announce that applications for the 2025 academic year bursary programme are now open. This is an exciting opportunity for students residing in the AmaMfengu, Koukamma, or Kouga communities in the Eastern Cape who are looking to pursue higher education in a variety of fields.
What Fields of Study are Eligible?
Bursaries will be awarded for studies in the following areas:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Business Management & Economics
- Computer & Information Sciences
- Engineering
- Environmental Sciences
- Health & Clinical Sciences
- Law
- Social Sciences & Humanities
This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are passionate about any of these fields and wish to contribute to the development of their communities while pursuing higher education.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the TWFT bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- South African Citizenship: You must be a Black South African, as defined by the DTI codes of good practice.
- Residency: You must permanently reside within a 50km radius of the Tsitsikamma Community Wind Farm, specifically within the AmaMfengu, Koukamma, or Kouga communities in the Eastern Cape province.
- Age: You must be between 18 and 29 years old.
- Field of Study: You must be currently studying or intend to study towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above.
- Household Income: Your total household income must NOT exceed R350,000 per annum (or R29,000 per month).

- Certified copy of your full tertiary academic record (if currently studying)
- Certified copy of your parent or guardian’s proof of household income (payslip if employed, affidavit if unemployed, SASSA letter if receiving a grant, death certificate if deceased)
- Proof of address (municipal bill, letter from Ward Counsellor, or affidavit)
