Key requirements for the post:

• Currently enrolled in or registered for a Bachelor of Education Foundation Phase or a PGCE in FP.
• Highly competent in written and spoken English
• Taking care of the physical and mental well-being of children at the aftercare
• Building a personal and meaningful relationship with the children
• Present a positive image of the school to others and the community
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Competent in Google Suite and digital or online teaching
• Enthusiastic about working in a large school environment and being prepared to take on the responsibilities of extramural activities and events after normal school hours.
• A willingness to support Penryn’s all-around ethos, co-curricular activities, and pastoral approach. Sports skills are advantageous.
• Comply with the SACE regulation and Code of Conduct.
• Willing to undergo staff vetting.
