JOB PURPOSE:

• To ensure a reliable duty by assisting RNC construction teams during maintenance and construction works in Track.
• To ensure that work is completed effectively and efficiently performing general worker duties

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum of 06 Months of relevant experience
• Minimum Grade 9
• Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
• Knowledge of construction working environment
• Knowledge of relevant tools equipment and material
• Physically & Medical fit,
• Communicate
• Distinguish between correct tools, equipment and materials and usage thereof for specific task

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Handling, loading and offloading material
• Distinguish and identify different types of materials and tools
• Use material to execute tasks received from Supervisor
• Understand the sequence of tasks given by supervisor
• Performing trench excavations, as well as handling or laydown any kind of services to trenches and do backfilling.
• Support & obey instruction received from Supervisor.
• Cleaning of site by removing weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors and removing and disposing of excess/rubble materials,
• Must be able to use any hand tool (non-mechanized) in the construction environment
• Must be able to use any hand tool and or mechanized equipment in the construction environment

• Certified copy of School report
