This learnership is fully accredited and leads to a National Certificate in General Security Practices (NQF Level 3) — a SAQA-recognised qualification. The programme blends classroom-based learning with real-world workplace experience under the guidance of qualified mentors.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is designed for unemployed South African youth, particularly those who are:
- Between 18 and 30 years old
- In possession of a Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- Physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of the security environment
- Not currently employed or studying full-time
- Interested in building a long-term career in the security sector
Applicants must also be willing to undergo criminal background checks, psychometric assessments, and meet industry-specific standards such as PSIRA registration.
What You’ll Learn and Gain
