Sasol Fire Fighter in Training Programme
- The Fire Fighter in Training role is designed as a development position that prepares candidates for operational firefighting roles within Sasol’s emergency management division.
- Successful candidates will undergo structured training and workplace exposure, allowing them to develop the physical, technical, and mental skills needed to respond to emergencies in industrial environments.
These emergencies may include:
- Fires in plant facilities
- Chemical incidents
- Hazardous material spills

Over time, candidates can progress through various firefighting ranks based on training, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities – Fire Fighter in Training
- The selected candidates will work closely with experienced emergency response teams to ensure the company’s operations remain safe and prepared for any emergency.
Core duties include:
