• The AM Security Services Learnership Programme is a skills development initiative designed for unemployed South African youth aged 18-30

The aim of our Learnership Programme is to award learning opportunities in the Private Security Industry to unemployed South Africans between the ages of 18 – 30 years. Black, Indian and Coloured Males and Females and welcome to apply,

Learnerships are learning programmes that lead to an occupational qualification. This includes classroom-based learning at the institute and on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Age: Between 18 and 30 years old
• Education: Matric (Grade 12) with English and a minimum Level 4 in all subjects
• Citizenship: South African citizen with a valid ID
• Employment Status: Unemployed and not registered for any other learnership or qualification
• PSIRA Registration: Not registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA)
• Criminal Record: No criminal record
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills
• Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in MS Office, email, and internet usage is an advantage

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Private Security Industry. We are passionate about building tomorrow’s future leaders.

The qualification will provide the learner with the required knowledge, practical skills and workplace-based experience to prepare the learner to operate as a Security Officer.

Requirements:

• Must not be employed.
• Must not be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any other Learnership Programme.
• Must have a Matric (Grade 12) with English and a minimum of Level 4 in ALL the subjects
• Must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 3o years of age.
• No criminal Record
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Computer Skills (MS Office, E-mail and Internet) will be an advantage
• The ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Reside close to Strand
