- Ekurhuleni West TVET College is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed graduates with an N6 Hospitality Certificate to gain practical experience through its Hospitality Trainees Programme.
- This 18-month programme is designed to equip trainees with hands-on experience in hospitality operations, kitchen management, and food service environments.
- Participants will receive a monthly stipend of R4,500, while gaining valuable workplace exposure in a structured training environment.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- N6 Hospitality Certificate
Successful candidates will be involved in:
- Compiling and placing orders
- Stock taking (food and equipment)
- Store keeping and issuing ingredients
- Nutrition and menu planning
- Assisting lecturers with demonstrations
- Cooking food for crèche
- Liaising with suppliers
- Generating quotations
- Assisting with planning functions
- Maintaining MSDS records in the kitchen
- Ensuring OHS administration compliance
- Supervising students during functions and restaurant days
This programme is ideal for candidates who:
- Have completed N6 Hospitality
- Want practical hospitality experience
- Are interested in food service and kitchen operations
- Are looking to complete their 18-month workplace training
- Have not previously completed a similar internship

- New Z83 form (effective from 01 January 2021)
- Updated CV
- Certified academic record (transcript)
- Certified Matric certificate
- Certified N4–N6 certificates
- Certified copy of ID (both sides)
- At least three contactable references with email addresses
Notes
- Applications using the old Z83 form will be disqualified
