Millwright Apprenticeship

Millwrights are multi-skilled artisans responsible for maintaining both mechanical and electrical industrial systems.

  • Supporting plant reliability operations

Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship

Fitter & Turners specialize in precision engineering and machine component manufacturing.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Operating lathes and milling machines

  • Assembling mechanical equipment

  • Maintaining production tools
  • Performing equipment alignment
  • Supporting mechanical maintenance teams

Minimum Requirements

For Millwright Applicants

NTC3 or Technical Matric including:

Training Location: Toyota Technical Training Centre Durban

Training takes place at:

Prospecton Manufacturing Facility

Learners receive:

  • workshop-based technical training
  • plant-floor exposure
  • engineering mentoring support
  • structured artisan development guidance

Toyota clearly states:

Permanent employment is not guaranteed after completion.
