AGSA (SETA) Learnership Programme for Youth 2025

The African Global Skills Academy (AGSA) is proud to offer a range of exciting and SETA-accredited learnership programmes designed to empower South African youth with the knowledge, skills, and work experience needed to succeed in today’s job market. These programmes are open to individuals with a Matric Certificate, Grade 10, or Grade 11 school report, making it an accessible opportunity for many unemployed and ambitious young people.

Learnership Programmes Offered

AGSA’s learnerships are tailored to meet the growing demand in various sectors. Each programme offers a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience, allowing learners to gain valuable skills and earn a nationally recognized qualification.

  1. National Certificate: Food and Beverage Services (NQF Level 4) – CATHSSETA

This programme equips learners with the skills to work in restaurants, hotels, and other food service establishments. It covers food preparation, customer service, hygiene, and beverage handling, preparing candidates for careers in hospitality.

  1. National Certificate: Fast Food Services (NQF Level 3) – CATHSSETA

Ideal for those looking to enter the fast-paced world of quick-service restaurants, this programme focuses on service delivery, food safety, and basic management principles in the fast-food industry.

  1. National Certificate: Wholesale and Retail Operations (NQF Level 3) – W&RSETA

  1. National Certificate: Hygiene and Cleaning Services (NQF Level 3) – Services SETA

Entry Requirements

To qualify, applicants must have at least one of the following:

  • Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Grade 10 or Grade 11 school report
