Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) invites graduates to apply for the 2025–2027 Graduate Internship and Work Integrated Learning Programme
Internship Application Closing Date
Internship Location: Pretoria Head Office, Olifantsfontein, and various CET Regional Offices nationwide, South Africa
The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) invites all unemployed South African graduates and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) students to apply for its 2025/2026 to 2026/2027 Graduate Internship and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme. This 24-month fixed-term programme provides valuable workplace experience aligned with your academic field.
Internship Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35
- Have never participated in any internship or WIL programme in the public service
- Possess relevant qualifications as required per post
- Be available for the full duration of the internship (24 months)
- Submit a completed Z83 form and comprehensive CV
Failure to submit required documents will result in your application not being considered.

Internship Stipend
