GOOGLE/COURSERA Cybersecurity Certificate Course

No prior experience is required!

Google Cloud South Africa in collaboration with the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) is launching the Google Cybersecurity Upskilling Initiative.

They are offering licenses to train up to 12,000 students through the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate program.

This initiative is designed to help build a strong cybersecurity workforce and provide job seekers with affordable pathways to rewarding careers in cybersecurity, cyber-defence, information security analysis, and Security Operations Centres (SOC).

This program is perfect for anyone eager to start their journey in the in-demand field of cybersecurity.

GOOGLE/COURSERA Cybersecurity Certificate Course

The Application will take approximately 4 minutes to complete.

This is a selection course, so please fill in the form and we will process your details and let you know if your application has been successful. We will be taking 3 cohorts of 4000 students, so if you are not accepted in the first group you could still be included in the second or third group. The courses are for free however NEMISA will NOT be providing Data or Devices, so you will need to have your own device (laptop or desktop computer) and data, and you will need to be computer literate. To this end you will need to complete the Digital Competency Assessment that is part of this application form.
If you are not comfortable working with a computer, we suggest you rather join our Digital Skills Platform via the NEMISA Digital Skills Platform take a Free Digital Literacy Course first and then reapply for one of the later Cohorts.
