HR Learnership / Internship Programme 2025
This position offers a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months, giving graduates the chance to get exposure to the full HR lifecycle.
Role and Responsibilities
As part of the HR team at Clicks Group, the HR Graduates will play an important role in ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of HR operations. The core responsibilities of the position include completing HR administrative duties to help resolve queries in a timely manner, ensuring that all tasks meet the company’s quality standards. Some of the main tasks will include:
- Assisting with HR reporting, ensuring that all HR-related data is captured accurately.
- Escalating queries to the appropriate department or team for resolution and following up as necessary.
- Supporting the HR and training departments with day-to-day tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Handling a variety of ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as taking meeting minutes, data capturing, assisting with recruitment and interviews, and conducting reference checks.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the HR Graduate position, applicants must meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- Educational Requirements: A completed Degree or BTech in Human Resource Management is essential. This is the minimum educational qualification required for the role.
- Computer Literacy: Applicants must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. This is important as the role will require regular use of these tools for data management, reporting, and communication.
- E-mail Proficiency: Candidates must have a strong understanding of email communication as it forms a key part of daily responsibilities in an office environment.
In addition to these qualifications, candidates should also possess the following skills and attributes:
- Numeracy and Analytical Skills: Ability to handle data and perform basic analysis as part of HR reporting tasks.

Eligibility Criteria
This position is part of an employment equity (EE) initiative, and applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Age: Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 29 years at the time of application.
- Citizenship: Only South African citizens are eligible to apply.
- Unemployment Status: Applicants must currently be unemployed and willing to commit to the 12-month contract.
