
Life Healthcare Nursing Intake Applications For 2026 Are Open
Life Healthcare Nursing College offers students options for study that will equip them for a career in healthcare. Applications for the college’s Nursing programmes for 2026 are open to students who dream of working in nursing, but have not yet applied.
Life College of Learning is a higher education institution under the Life Healthcare group. Within the college, there are a total of seven learning centres spread across the country that are dedicated to the training of committed students in the field of nursing.

These seven centres are located in: Cape Town, Springs, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Roodepoort. With over 20 years’ experience in teaching, the college has developed an effective learning design that merges theory with clinical work, offering its students a holistic learning experience.
When Do Applications Open?
The college welcomes students to apply for the following qualifications that will be available for the 2026 academic year:
- Higher Certificate in Nursing (one year full-time)
- Diploma in Nursing (three years full-time)
Applications will only be accepted between the 1st of June 2025 and the 31st of July 2025.

What Are the Minimum Requirements for Entry?
Applicants must have:
- Met the minimum National Senior Certificate (NSC) requirements for higher education entrance and higher certificate entry level, or a recognised qualification to the equivalent.
- A level 4 (50-59%) NSC achievement in English Language studies
- A level 3 (40-49%) NSC achievement in Mathematical Literacy and Life Sciences
- A South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) equivalency certificate for international applicants
Applicants must have:
- Met the minimum National Senior Certificate (NSC) requirements for higher education entrance and diploma entry level, or a recognised qualification to the equivalent.
- A level 4 NSC achievement in English Language studies, Life Sciences, and Mathematical Literacy (or level 3 in Mathematics)
- A South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) equivalency certificate for international applicants
It is also recommended that applicants complete a computer literacy course.
Once applicants deem themselves eligible for application and submit their complete applications with all necessary documentation, all that is left is to await a response.
