The Transnet WIL programme is a structured 12 to 18-month initiative designed to help TVET college students and recent graduates gain the practical experience required to complete their qualifications (like the National N Diploma) or to bridge the gap into professional employment.

Qualifications and Experience

2. Key Requirements

To be eligible for a non-technical learnership at Transnet, you must typically meet these criteria:

Citizenship: South African citizen.
Age: 18 to 35 years old.
Education: * Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- An N6 qualification from a TVET College in a relevant non-technical field (Public Relations, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management).
Status: Unemployed and not currently in another learnership or internship.
