Signa Academy (part of the Signa Group) is a well-known Level 1 B-BBEE training institution offering fully funded, SETA and QCTO-accredited learnerships across South Africa.

  • Information Technology (IT): Technical Support (NQF 4), Systems Development (NQF 4), End-User Computing (NQF 3), and AI Essentials.

  • Business & Management: Business Administration, Project Management, Generic Management, Contact Centre Operations, and entry-level Accounting.

  • Services & Hospitality: Retail, Customer Service, Hospitality, Cleaning, and Facilities Operations.

  • Trades & Health: Engineering/Construction technical skills, Artisan Apprenticeships, and Community Health Work.

Minimum Admission Requirements

  • Citizenship: South African Citizen with a valid ID.

  • Employment Status: Currently unemployed and not registered for any other full-time studies.

  • Education: Minimum Grade 10 passed (Grade 9 may be accepted for select entry-level certificates, while Grade 12/Matric is highly advantageous for IT and Management streams).

  • Commitment: Willingness to complete the full 12-month duration (both theoretical and practical workplace components).

The Application Process

1.Initiate Online Registration:Step 1.

Visit the official Signa Academy Learner Hub website and fill out the initial basic application form with your active contact details.

2.Check Your Email / WhatsApp:Step 2.

The Signa recruitment team will send you a confirmation message containing instructions and a direct link to access the official Signa Academy Recruitment App.

3.Build Your Profile:Step 3.

Log into the app, complete your digital CV details, and select your preferred career streams and closest geographic location.

4.Upload Certified Documents:Step 4.

Upload clean, clear PDF or color scans of your required compliance documents to ensure your profile is verified.

5.Database Matching:Step 5.

Once your profile is active, it stays in the database. When a sponsor launches a funded project matching your location and criteria, the team will contact you directly for interviews and assessments.

 

⚠️ Critical Document Checklist

To ensure your profile isn’t rejected during the vetting process, ensure you have these documents ready:

  • Certified color copy of your ID (Certification stamp must not be older than 3 months).

  • Your updated CV (Keep it to 2–3 pages max).

  • Highest school qualification or latest report (Grade 10, 11, or Matric), plus a signed education affidavit.

  • SARS Tax Number Certificate (Mandatory for receiving legal stipends in South Africa).

  • 3-Month Bank Statement or bank confirmation letter stamped by your bank.

  • Unemployment Affidavit signed at a SAPS police station or by a Commissioner of Oaths.

  • For PLWD applicants: A certified medical certificate or doctor’s note (not older than 3 months) confirming the nature of the disability.
