KUKHULA LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME 2027

The Kukhula Learnership Programme is a SETA-accredited, skills-development initiative offered by Kukhula Global Projects. It combines formal theoretical learning (classroom or virtual) with practical, on-the-job workplace training to help South Africans gain recognized qualifications registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Core Fields & Available Pathways

Kukhula offers accredited programmes (NQF Levels 1 to 5) across multiple streams:

• Business & Office Administration (NQF Level 3 & 4)

• Management & Leadership (NQF Level 5)

• Project Management (NQF Level 5)

• New Venture Creation & Entrepreneurship (NQF Level 2 & 4)

• Mixed Farming & Agriculture (NQF Level 1 to 4)

• Early Childhood Development (ECD) (NQF Level 4)

• Short Skills & Digital Competencies (Customer Service, IT Fundamentals, Workplace Readiness)

Key Requirements

While specific entry requirements depend on the qualification level, standard minimum criteria include:

• Citizenship: South African citizen with a valid SA ID.

• Age: Typically 18 years or older.

• Education: Minimum of Grade 11 (Matric / Grade 12 is preferred or required for higher NQF levels).

• Status: Unemployed youth, employed individuals seeking upskilling, or persons living with disabilities.

Program Benefits

• Monthly Stipend: Unemployed learners receive financial allowance to cover transport and daily living expenses.

• SETA / QCTO Certification: Earn a nationally recognized certificate upon successful completion.

• Workplace Placement: Gain relevant, hands-on experience in host companies.

• No Application Fees: Kukhula never requests a registration fee or payment from applicants.

Documents Needed to Apply

1. Certified copy of your South African ID (certified within the last 3 months).

2. Certified copy of your Highest Qualification (Grade 11/12 report or certificate).

3. Updated CV (2–3 pages).

4. Proof of Residence.

5. Medical Confirmation / ITR-DD Form (if applying under the Disability Stream).
