Duties
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency in partnership with The National Skills Fund invites applications from interested
candidates to apply for the Brick Laying Apprenticeship project. Participants will undergo training and receive workplace skills development. The program will be implemented for a period of thirty-six (36) months.
Requirements for Eligibility
- The learner must be unemployed
- Energetic individuals capable of handling manual labour
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35 years,
- Have a minimum of Grade Twelve (Matric) qualification, with Maths/Maths Literacy
- Application must be accompanied by a motivation letter with the correct Reference Number of the program applied for
- Be a resident of the abovementioned Local Municipality (Proof of residence required)
- Have a passion or interest in the construction industry
- Must not have participated in the same program before
- Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply
About The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency is established in terms of the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency Act of 2005, Act No. 5 of 2005, and listed as a Schedule 3C Public Entity. The entity came into existence on 1 April 2006 following the merger of the now defunct Mpumalanga Parks Board and Mpumalanga Tourism Authority.
