- Duration: 24 months

- Contract: Signed between the intern, SACE, and ETDP-SETA
SACE invites applications from enthusiastic, committed graduates who are ready to embark on a 24-month internship journey. This internship offers a monthly remuneration of R6,500 for those with an NQF Level 7 qualification and R7,500 for those with an NQF Level 8 qualification. Interns will be stationed at the SACE Head Office in Centurion, and the programme will run in collaboration with ETDP-SETA.
Internship Opportunities Available
SACE has opened two major internship categories, each requiring specific qualifications. These internships are perfect for recent graduates interested in research, legal ethics, or monitoring and evaluation within the education sector.
1. Monitoring and Evaluation, Research Intern

- Qualifications: Degree (NQF 7 or 8) in:
- Education
- Public Management
- Public Administration
- Social Sciences
- Research
- Humanities
This role involves assisting with monitoring and evaluating the implementation of educational programmes and policies, conducting research to improve teaching standards, and gathering data to support informed decision-making in the education sector. The internship offers hands-on experience in program evaluation and data-driven research methodologies, which are crucial for shaping effective education policies.
2. Legal and Ethics Intern

- Qualifications: Degree (NQF 7 or 8) in:
- Law
- Paralegal Studies
In this position, interns will work closely with the legal and ethics team at SACE, gaining experience in drafting legal documents, dealing with disciplinary matters, and upholding the code of ethics for educators. Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the SACE Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Must be 35 years of age or younger.
- Must possess a relevant NQF Level 7 or 8 qualification as specified in the respective internship categories.
