Job Purpose
The purpose of the YES Learnership Programme at Clover is to provide unemployed youth with 12 months of work experience in the sales department, specifically as a Merchandiser. The program aims to upskill the youth of South Africa and has positions available across Clover’s branches in various locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include:
- Stock control and ordering
- Ensuring product availability on shelves
- Maintaining equipment control and clean products
- Establishing and maintaining good business relationships
- Basic merchandising and administration tasks
Qualifications Required
Applicants for the Clover YES Programme should be South African Youth who:
- Are between 18 and 35 years old
- Possess a matric qualification
- Are currently unemployed
- Have not previously participated in a YES Programme with another organization
Competencies
- Desired competencies include effective communication, honesty, consistency, customer orientation, and results-driven attitudes.
